Home Craft Design Process Works

Complimentary Consultation

We bring together all decision-makers to get the full picture of the project and see if we’re the right fit for each other. We do this by listening to your desires and design needs and establishing mutual trust—trust in the vision for your home and trust in our expertise to execute—all during a complimentary 20-min consultation video call.*

Home Consultation

If we decide that we’re a fit, then we move forward with a 90-minute home consultation, which includes a consultation fee that will need to be paid upfront. This is where we get to know you, your family, your style, and your priorities. This is the time for us to dig in and dive deep— we talk about functionality concerns, we look at ideas you’ve collected on Pinterest or Houzz, and we use this time to discuss your budget.*

Research Phase

Our research phase is where we develop a design direction to match your lifestyle. After the home consultation, we schedule a separate visit to take measurements and photos and then we get to work selecting furniture choices, art, accessories, lighting, paint colors, flooring, and so much more. This is also when we prepare a storyboard with plenty of fun and interesting samples for you to see, touch, feel, and choose from!

Design Presentation

We will prepare a detailed presentation including a design storyboard as well as a full design proposal and project scope of work for review and approval. We will also include all design fees required as well as the purchasing of products in the proposal. Note: We ask that all design projects include 2-plus rooms with furnishing, lighting, and accessories so that we can help the design vision come to life.

Design Implementation

We manage all of the moving parts of the design project from start to finish, so that you don’t have to. We also have an extensive network of resources and vendors available allowing us to deliver hands-on and quality service. We work diligently to highlight the rooms that matter most, select pieces that speak to you, and put everything in its right place—we’ll put the sofa in the perfect spot and make sure the art is hung perfectly!

This is the part we live for—the big reveal! We love (and usually can’t wait) to show you what we’ve designed. Our designs are made to help you feel both relaxed and rejuvenated because you deserve a space that feels custom-made just for you. We want everything about your space to feel transformed and for you to feel comfortable, at peace, in flow, and curious to explore and learn even more about your home!

If we decide to move forward with the 90-minute home consultation, the consultation fee will be $397.
Our design fees depend on the project scope of work. Once we get started, we work within your budget and what works best for your home. No matter your budget size, you will always feel good about your purchases with us.
We can recommend names of vendors as needed for a design project—people we trust and have worked with before.
We typically request that projects include 2+ rooms with furnishings, lighting, and accessories.
This is where we come in and we can work on it together! We can get creative and help you figure out what your design style is.
We can come in and finish a room design with pieces you’ve already purchased so that you have a complete look and so everything flows in a cohesive way from one room to the next.
We do! We offer virtual design services for out-of-state clients.

Our Interior Design Services

We specialize in interior styling and finish selection and we can work on multiple rooms and entire homes, as well as home renovations. Our specialty is understanding how to design in a way that brings out the very best in a space so that it fulfills your needs and fits your lifestyle.

Full Service Design

$40k Project Minimum, + 21% design fee
$50k project, + 19% design fee
$75k project, + 17% design fee
$100k project, + 15% design fee

Who is this for:

A client who has a larger scale project and would like for the interior designer to manage the project from the initial concept all the way through to completion.

Compact Design

One time fee of $4,900

Who is this for:

A client who has a smaller scale design project, 10-20 hours total, and does not need as much hands-on assistance from the interior designer. After 20 hours, it is an hourly rate.

One-Hour Design

One time fee of $597 to be paid prior to appointment. Can be used once per client’s home, and must live within 30 miles of Longmont.

A busy client who does not have much time but needs design guidance for one hour and would like to ask design related questions with a professional as we walk though their home.
